About Me...

David Rickman is a native of Mississippi.  David followed in the footsteps of his Grandfather who was an artist/cartoonist in the 1950’s.  David got involved in art at an early age from studying his grandfathers’ sketches and drawings and ultimately followed him in an art career.

David studied fine art and marketing/design at Memphis College of Art and University of Memphis.

After college, David worked in the printing and design fields for more than 25 years before starting his own marketing/graphics company – Proforma Media Group. 

David has displayed and published his designs from commercial art to fine art all across the mid-south and has won a number of awards for his designs and art.

For years David has been working to combine digital technology with the fine arts and graphic media field bringing all types of the arts together to give a visual appealing work of art to all.  The forming of Media Groove Studios & Gallery is the culmination of bringing all of the arts together in one place.  You can contact David via email at:  david@mediagroovestudios.com anytime!
